We recommend washing your cutting board by hand with hot water and detergent. Avoid the dishwasher as it can be harmful to the wood. Dried it with a dry cloth and left in a place with good ventilation, never in direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry place to prevent the wood from splitting or bending.
The Luehea Divaricata or “Sota Caballo” is a deciduous tree that is autochthonous of Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. Provides soita or zoita wood, known for it’s ocher yellow color and having an excellent weight-resistance ratio. This makes it ideal for use as a cutting board.
